Fog Lift Events: Building a Community

In 2023-2024, Kindermuse Productions expanded its outreach and impact through a series of events called Fog Lift. These events were designed to provide a supportive space for individuals connected to adoption to share their stories, engage in healing activities, and build a sense of community. Now we’re expanding the reach to anyone who thinks they might have a primary wound or issues surrounding feelings of non-being. That could be anyone! We are dedicated to guiding people away from confusion towards confidence by connecting with people who can empathize in a safe space.

• Nashville Event:

  • Held in early 2023, the Nashville Fog Lift event marked our first foray into hosting in-

    person gatherings.

  • The event featured live theatre, interactive activities, the film, and a party bus experience, drawing participants from across the region.

  • Feedback from attendees highlighted the event's success in fostering connection and providing valuable resources.

• NYC Event:

  • In Feb. 2024, we hosted a Fog Lift event in New York City, expanding our reach to the East

    Coast.

  • This event built on the success of Nashville, attracting a larger and more diverse audience.

  • Keynote speakers, including notable figures in the adoption community, like Dr. Amanda Baden, added depth and perspective to the discussions.

• Chicago Event:

  • Our third event, held in May 2024 in Chicago, solidified the Fog Lift series as a cornerstone

    of our community engagement efforts.

  • The event continued to offer a mix of performances including live theatre, a live podcast and film screening, as well as a trip to The Museum of Ice Cream. It was also our first live- stream event and had an international audience.

  • Strong attendance and positive feedback underscored the demand for these types of gatherings.
